An apparatus 100 suitable for treating a fluid comprises an inlet 111 in communication with a first chamber 110 and a second chamber 120 in communication with first and second outlets. The first and second chambers share one or more common dividing walls 102e, which are pierced by one or more apertures 103. A distance between an entrance to the first outlet 105 and a base of the second chamber is less than a distance between an entrance to the second outlet 106 and the base of the second chamber. At least a part of the one or more common walls extends from the base of the second chamber by a distance less than a distance between the base of the second chamber and the entrance to the second outlet. The apparatus may form an enclosed box with a lid 132. The apparatus may be used to remove grease and other debris from waste water. |
