<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording medium which is free from problems in ink absorbing property even after applying a calender-finishing, and has gloss. <P>SOLUTION: The inkjet recording medium includes, on a support, an ink fixing layer containing at least pigments, a binder and an ink fixing agent, and contains a polyvinyl alcohol and a thermosensitive aqueous adhesive as the binder in the ink fixing layer.
