摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device which has high definition and improves a display quality by reducing a threshold reliability shift of a drive transistor, and a driving method of the display device. <P>SOLUTION: A display device includes a display element 16 and a pixel circuit 18 and comprises a plurality of pixel portions PX which are disposed in a matrix shape on a substrate. The pixel circuit includes a first output switch PCT connected to reset power supply wiring and a high-potential voltage power source, a drive transistor DRT connected to an anode of a light-emitting element and the reset power supply wiring, a second output switch BCT which is connected between the light-emitting element and the drive transistor DRT and of which the control terminal is connected to a second scan line, a hold capacitor connected between a first terminal of the drive transistor and a first terminal of the second output switch, and a pixel switch SST which is connected between video signal wiring and a control terminal of the drive transistor and of which the control terminal is connected to a third scan line.
