PURPOSE: A power cable for having a sheath of a laminated copper plate is provided to reduce the external diameter of a cable by forming a smoothing copper tape into a metal shield layer. CONSTITUTION: A core unit(100) is composed of an inner semi conductive layer, an insulating layer, and an outer semi conductive layer. The inner semi conductive layer is formed around a core conductor(11). The outer semi conductive layer is formed around the insulating layer. A metal shield layer(20) includes a coupling neutral conductor line(16) and a copper tape layer(18). An external sheath(200) is composed of an anti-corrosion layer(19) coated around the metal shield layer.
