<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress electrostatic discharge damage to a plurality of diode connection switches which are connected in series. <P>SOLUTION: The display device according to the present invention is characterized in that each pixel PX includes a driving control element DR including a control terminal, a 1st terminal connected to a power supply terminal ND1, and a 2nd terminal for outputting a driving current of level corresponding to the voltage between them, a display element OLED including a pixel electrode, a counter electrode connected to the power supply terminal ND2, and an active layer interposed between them, an output control switch SW1 connected between the 2nd terminal and pixel electrode, a video signal supply control switch SW2 connected between the 2nd terminal and a video signal line DL, the plurality of diode connection switches SW3a and SW3e which are connected in series between the 2nd terminal and control terminal, a capacitor C1 connected between the control terminal and a constant potential terminal ND1', and capacitors C2a and C2b connected between connection points where a scanning signal line SL1 and the switches SW3a and SW3e are connected to each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
