PURPOSE: A head structure for a friction stir welding machine is provided to process welded surfaces with the same welding program by mounting a surface cutting tool after completion of friction stir welding. CONSTITUTION: A head structure for a friction stir welding machine comprises a head(10) which is transferred in X, Y, and Z directions. A rotary tool for friction stir welding(100) and a surface machining tool are selectively coupled to the head. The upper part of the rotary tool includes a plurality of fixing units(150) coupled to the fixed cylinder of the head.
