<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixation device which prevents a resistance heat generating layer of a fixation rotation body from being locally heated, and thereby prevents the fixation rotation body from being an abnormally high temperature to realize a long life fixation rotation body. <P>SOLUTION: A resistance heat generation layer 31b is provided on a whole periphery of a heat generating belt 31. A fixation nip N is formed by a pressure roller 32 being pressed toward and contacting with an outer peripheral surface of the heat generating belt 31. Electrode parts 31g for supplying electric power to the resistance heat generating layer 31b are provided over the whole periphery of the resistance heat generating layer 31b respectively in both outsides of the axis direction of the fixation nip N. An outer peripheral side resistance film 31h and an inner peripheral side resistance film 31k having a volume resistivity higher than that of each electrode part 31g are provided as a resistance layer to adjust the current density in respective spaces between consecutive end regions placed respectively in edges of the fixation nip N side of the respective electrode parts 31g, and the outer and the inner peripheral surfaces of the resistance heat generating layer 31b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
