<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a program processing device capable of enhancing processing performance. <P>SOLUTION: A flash memory 28 stores a boot program for firmware and an eMMC device 42 stores a boot program for memory update. A sub CPU 32 determines if the eMMC device 42 is loaded in a slot 30 or not, designates the boot program for firmware based on a negative determination result and designates the boot program for memory update based on a positive determination result. A main CPU 24 executes the designated boot program. As a result, firmware is started corresponding to designation of the boot program for firmware and the flash memory 28 is updated corresponding to designation of the boot program for memory update.
