<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shift device of a transmission for vehicle which prevents wrong operation of a shift lever. <P>SOLUTION: A first shift gate 40 and an advancing position (D) 52 which are arranged in series in vehicle cross direction are connected at a neutral position (N) 46 arranged at an intermediate position of a first shift gate 40 by a gate extending in a width direction. If a shift lever 20 escapes from a parking position (P) 44, it becomes a locked state in a predetermined time. Thereby, when trying to move the shift lever 20 to the advancing position (D) 52, it is locked at a neutral position (N) 46, and the shift lever 20 can be certainly moved to the advancing position (D) 52. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
