<p>PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for measuring the picture quality of a stereoscopic display device and a method for analyzing the picture quality using the same are provided to quantify a motion artifact of 3D moving pictures in consideration of an artifact of undesired moving pictures by gray to gray cross talk and movement. CONSTITUTION: A pattern generation unit(100) generates right-eye and left-eye video patterns. A 3D display(200) displays the right-eye and left-eye video patterns on a screen. A polarizing member(300) selectively transmits the right-eye and left-eye video patterns. A tracing camera(400) measures luminance by tracing the boundary of the right-eye and left-eye video patterns. An analysis unit(600) generates a video response curve by analyzing the measured luminance.</p> |
