<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a finishing state of a small-size sheet to a level similar to that of a large-size recording sheet by mitigating conveying conditions of the small-size recording sheet; and to provide a fixing device of an image forming apparatus capable of conveying even weak and nonelastic recording sheet in a stable state. <P>SOLUTION: A fixing device 3 comprises: a heating roller 15 and a pressure roller 16 for fixing a toner image fixed to a recording sheet; and a plurality of peeling claws 17 and 18. The peeling claws 17 and 18 include rotating direction changing bodies 45 and 46 for changing the direction and guiding the recording sheet that has passed through a nip part 23 of the fixing device 3, towards a paper discharge guide 27. Assuming a central conveying path 251 and a side conveying path 252 extending from the nip part 23 of the fixing device 3 via the rotating direction changing bodies 45 and 46 and reaching the paper discharge guide 27, a bending angle θ1 of the central conveying path is set larger than a bending angle θ2 of the side conveying path 252. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
