<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotor for a rotary electric machine which can output a prescribed running torque at low current, reduce stress generated in a rotor core, especially the stresses generated at corners of slots of the rotor core, and maintain the strength of the rotor core. <P>SOLUTION: A rotor 10 for a rotary electric machine comprises a rotor core 20 and multiple magnetic pole sections 50 which are arranged inside the rotor core 20 in the circumferential direction with prescribed intervals, magnetized in radial direction, and configured to have a different magnetization direction alternately in the circumferential direction. The magnetic pole sections 50 are configured to have a pair of permanent magnets 30 respectively inserted in slots 25 which are divided by center ribs 26. Open holes 40 which axially penetrate the rotor core 20 are arranged at the inner peripheral side of the magnetic pole sections 50, and reinforcement ribs 41 are arranged at the open holes 40 on the circumferential centre line b of the centre ribs 26. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
