PURPOSE: A charging apparatus for an electric vehicle is provided to improve space availability and reduce manufacturing costs by checking power output through a simple circuit. CONSTITUTION: A connector(110) includes a power output unit and a signal output unit. The signal output unit provides information about power supplied from the power output unit. A body(120) transmits power for charging an electric vehicle to a connector. The body includes a receiving unit which receives the connector. The receiving unit is combined with the power output unit of the connector.
