<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photographing device capable of measuring an azimuth with accuracy at photographing, and to provide a method of controlling the photographing device, and a program. <P>SOLUTION: A photographing device has: photographing means performing photographing to generate photographing image data; a shutter operation part for instructing a photographing timing from outside; a terrestrial magnetic sensor detecting terrestrial magnetism; an electric driving part (a stroboscope charge circuit, a focus motor, a camera shake correction actuator) magnetically affecting the terrestrial magnetic sensor by electrical driving; driving control means bringing the electric driving part into a non-driving state in a predetermined time period (T1) after a predetermined operation input is performed via the shutter operation part; and photographing azimuth calculation means acquiring an output of the terrestrial magnetic sensor in the predetermined time period (T1) in which the electric driving part is in the non-driving state to calculate an azimuth based on the acquired output. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
