<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a setup system capable of easily and reliably checking wiring and shortening a setup time. <P>SOLUTION: A setup system comprises a motor control device having a plurality of input/output terminals and a setup device communicating with the motor control device. The setup device includes a display part for displaying at least a setting key for setting a state of the input/output terminals and an operation input part, and based on a display on the display part, the setup system has a wiring checking function for checking wiring between the motor control device and peripheral units for the motor control device.
