A sliding type portable curling irons capable of adjusting length is provided to allow to minimize its volume, and to allow easy carrying and convenient hair-care. The sliding type portable curing irons comprises: an upper cover(11); a lower cover(12); a hinge axis(32), where the upper and lower cases are rotatively linked within a limited range of angle; a battery carrying space(22) in the upper cover(11); a cover(24) connected to the battery carrying space(22), which has a switch(13a) and a lamp(14); a receiving space under the lower surface of upper cover(11), which is opened downward; and an inner cover(18) including a heater block(20), which is inserted into the receiving space.
