<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microscope system deriving and forming an intensity distribution of illumination light suited for observing, in an optimal state, an image of an object under observation. <P>SOLUTION: An optical microscope system (100) for observing an analyte (60) comprises: an imaging optical system (70) for forming an image according to transmission light or reflecting light of the analyte; an illumination light source (30) for applying illumination light to the analyte; an illumination optical system (40) including a first spatial light modulator element (90) that varies the intensity distribution of the illumination light at a conjugate position of the pupil of the imaging optical system and applies the light from the illumination light source to the analyte; an image sensor (80) for detecting the light via the imaging optical system; and a calculation section (20) for calculating the intensity distribution of the illumination light suited to the observation of the analyte based on the output data detected by the image sensor and the intensity distribution of the illumination light formed by the first spatial light modulator element. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
