Digital information is processed using the selected sampling clock frequency and a baseband signal is generated. Regardless of the selected sampling clock frequency, the baseband signal can have the same number of subcarrier frequencies. The baseband signal is converted to a radio-frequency signal having data transmission rate which depends on the selected sampling clock frequency and is transmitted. In more detail, the first baseband signal, having a first data transmission rate, is generated in response to the first clock frequency selection.
