<p>A seat occupancy sensor whereby the relative position of a pressure-sensitive switch can be easily changed within a limited space. Said seat occupancy sensor (1) is characterized by the provision of: a plurality of pressure-sensitive switches (40A to 40D), each of which has a pair of flexible insulating sheets, a sheet-shaped spacer that is interposed between the pair of insulating sheets and has an opening formed therein, and a pair of electrodes (14A and 24A) that are provided on the respective outside surfaces of the pair of insulating sheets and face each other with the opening therebetween; and wiring that electrically connects said pressure-sensitive switches (40A to 40D). The seat occupancy sensor is further characterized in that the pairs of insulating sheets (11A and 11B) and spacers in some of the pressure-sensitive switches (40A and 40B) are separated from the pairs of insulating sheets (21A and 21B) and spacers in the other pressure-sensitive switches (40C and 40D), and at least part of the wiring connecting the aforementioned some pressure-sensitive switches (40A and 40B) to the other pressure-sensitive switches (40C and 40D) comprises a flexible conductive wire (45).</p> |
