1291077 Trestles A BARRAS 11 Dec 1969 [11 Dec 1968] 60566/69 Heading A4H [Also in Division E1] A scaffold trestle comprises a scaffold element 16 in the form of a sleeve 28 slideably mounted on a scaffold standard 14 and including brackets 34, 36 for scaffold members, said brackets being spaced about the periphery of the sleeve and at different elevations thereon. Sleeve 28 is located at the desired height on standard 14 by a pin 26 engaging aligned holes 22, 18, in the sleeve and standard. Standard 14 is mounted at the desired height on a tripod base 12 by a pin 24 engaging aligned holes 18, 20 in the standard and base. The brackets 34, 36 define openings 38 of rectangular, square or circular form, for putlogs, ledgers, crossbars. The base may be integral with the standard. |
