摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor laser device such that projection light beams of light sources having two or more different wavelengths can have the same optical axes, the same intensity distribution, and the same optical path lengths; an optical pickup device; and a method of manufacturing the semiconductor laser device. <P>SOLUTION: A diffraction element has its grating shaped so that a spot light source has its light source position at a light emission point of transmitted light of a light source 1 so as to equalize a diffraction angle of diffracted light of a light source 2 primarily diffracted in a diffraction region to an angle of transmission of the light source through the diffraction region. An arrangement in which the optical axis of the light source 2 is inclined to make its light intensity distribution center meet a light intensity distribution of the light source 1 transmitted through the diffraction grating is made so as to equalize light emission angles and intensity distributions of the light source 1 and light source 2 emitted from the diffraction grating to each other. The position of the diffraction grating is adjusted based upon a current value generated by diffracting return light of the reflected light source 2 by the diffraction grating and making the return light incident on the light source 1 to reduce relative optical axis, intensity distribution, focusing deviations, and aberrations of the light source 1 and light source 2, thereby sharing a light reception part of a light receiving element for signal detection. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
