<p>A high-density connector for connecting a plurality of wires to a printed circuit board includes a plurality of intermediate circuit boards to which the wires are attached in offset rows. The intermediate circuit boards are held together in a stacked fashion in a first connector. A second connector that mates with the first connector has a series of terminals that are connected at mating ends thereof to a secondary circuit board. These terminal have their contact portions extending within an opening of the second connector into which the first connector fits. The terminals engage mating edges of the intermediate circuit boards to complete the connections.</p> |
