PURPOSE: An automatic drain valve is provided to prevent freezing of water remaining in a pipe due to outside low temperature by automatically discharging water, remaining in a pipe, using gravity. CONSTITUTION: An automatic drain valve comprises an adapter(110), a valve body(120), a piston(130) and an elastic member(140). The adapter is combined in a piping. The valve body is combined with the adapter. The piston is inserted inside the valve body and closes an outlet(125) using fluid pressure. The elastic member elastically supports between the valve body and the piston and automatically opens the outlet.
