<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scroll expander constituting an expansion mechanism and a sub compression mechanism back to back, which suppresses heat leakage from the compression mechanism to the expansion mechanism and has reduced capacity lowering and high efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: The scroll expander includes a scroll type expansion mechanism 5 and a scroll type sub compression mechanism 6 for compressing a refrigerant by power recovered by the expansion mechanism 5. In the expander, an oscillating scroll 52 of the expansion mechanism 5 and an oscillating scroll 62 of the sub compression mechanism 6 are constituted back to back and a hollow insulation space 16 serving as space pressure of oscillating scroll movement is arranged between two oscillating scrolls 52, 62. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
