PURPOSE: An asphalt modifier is provided to prevent gel generation in an improved asphalt wherein the improved asphalt contains a large amount of sulfur, and to improve the physical properties of asphalt like the softening point, viscosity, low temperature elongation, elastic recovery, etc. CONSTITUTION: An asphalt modifier comprises two or more kinds of vinyl aromatic hydrocarbon-conjugated diene block copolymer mixtures having different conjugated diene structures from each other. In the vinyl aromatic hydrocarbon-conjugated diene block copolymer, the content of vinyl aromatic hydrocarbons is 5-50 parts by weight based on 100.0 parts by weight of the vinyl aromatic hydrocarbon-conjugated diene block copolymer, and the number average molecular weight is 5,000-1,000,000 g/mol. The modified asphalt composition comprises asphalt, the asphalt modifier and sulfur.
