<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice cooker which can correct an inclination promptly when the inner pot is put in the outer pot in a condition in which the front side is higher. <P>SOLUTION: A rice cooker 1 has a body 2 and a lid 3 connected to it with a hinge part 4. The body 2 contains an outer pot 7 and the outer pot 7 holds an inner pot 11 into which cooked objects are put. The inner pot 11 has an outer flange 12 on the edge of an upper opening, the top surface of the body 2 is formed with a projection 20 making the narrowest section in the gap between the outer flange 12 and the top surface of the body 2 in the position between the center of the outer pot 7 and the hinge part 4. The apex of rolling of an annular rib 21 formed in the top surface of the body 2 so that the outer pot 7 may be surrounded serves as a projection 20. An inner lid 13 stuck to the upper opening of the inner pot 11 is attached to the inner face of the lid 3. When the lid 3 is closed, the inner lid 13 exerts pressure to the inner pot 11 with the elasticity of a packing 19 which is arranged between a steam vent 17 attached to the inner lid 13 and the lid 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
