<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk device for adjusting the intensity of laser beams applied to a recording medium to a set value, and fixing the intensity of laser beams around a desired value. <P>SOLUTION: The optical disk device has: a laser beam branching means for branching laser beams; a first laser beam intensity detection means for detecting the laser beam intensity of laser beams in an optical path applied to an optical recording medium; a second laser beam intensity detection means for detecting the intensity of laser beams for controlling the intensity of laser beams; a laser beam intensity ratio acquisition means for acquiring a laser beam intensity ratio from the intensity of laser beams detected by the first and second laser beam intensity detection means; and a laser beam intensity control means for performing control so that the intensity of laser beams applied to the optical recording medium becomes a set value, based on the intensity of laser beams detected by the second laser beam intensity detection means and the laser beam intensity ratio acquired by the laser beam intensity ratio acquisition means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
