VESSEL AND ITS CONTROL METHOD

PURPOSE: A ship and a method of controlling a ship are provided to prevent the water level of LNG in a tank from becoming lower than the operating level of a pump by re-liquefying evaporative gas from the tank and returning it to the tank. CONSTITUTION: A ship comprises hull, a tank(10), a first path(210), a cooling unit, a second path(220), a pump, a third path(230), and an additional-liquefaction device. The tank is installed on the hull to store LNG. The first path guides evaporative gas from the tank to engine. The cooling unit is supplied to the first path and cools the evaporative gas. The second path supplies the LNG stored in the tank to the cooling unit. The pump is connected to the second path and pumps the LNG. The third path is branched from the first path and connected to the tank.
