The heavy duty shelving has a front support strut (3) and rear support strut (4) that are provided for supporting pallet load on top surface. Radio frequency identification (RFID) transponder (5) is attached in the back side of front support strut, and comprised with a fastening portion (6) for connection to the front support strut. An antenna (7) of the transponder is oriented to 90[deg] in horizontal plane of the front support strut.
