PURPOSE: A metal sorting apparatus for treating mine waste is provided to selectively sort heavy metal and organic metal included in tailing. CONSTITUTION: Hollow cylindrical Metal sorting apparatus for treating mine waste comprises: a metal sorting part(110) in which tailing is inserted through the inside of a cylinder; a metal collecting part, which is in one side of the inner circumference of the metal sorting part, collecting metal material separated from the tailing inserted into the metal sorting part; a rotation part, which is in one side of the outer circumference of the metal sorting part, rotating the metal sorting part to one direction; an injection nozzle part(140), which is inserted inside the metal sorting part for separating the tailing putted into the metal sorting part by the difference of a specific gravity, spraying water to the inner circumference of the metal sorting part.
