PURPOSE: An apparatus for inspecting cracks of an external electrode fluorescent lamp is provided to inspect progressive cracks and minute cracks by taking a photograph of both ends of the external electrode fluorescent lamp by using a camera in which a strain viewer filter is installed. CONSTITUTION: A camera in which a strain viewer filter is installed on the inner side of a fusion face of an external electrode fluorescent lamp(10). A dark field lighting device inspects progressive cracks and minute cracks of the external electrode fluorescent lamp. The dark field lighting device having a black lower reflective plate installed in the bottom. The dark field lighting device uses a reflection mirror. The strain viewer filter comprises a light-polarizing lens(40), a polyester film(50), and a light-polarizing filter(60) between a camera lens and an LED illumination(70).
