The room (1) has a container (7) with an intake (6) for introducing cooked and warm sea animals into the container, where the intake is accessible from outside. An air inlet is arranged in a region of an outlet (2) of the container, and comprises a fan (4) for conveying cold air from the room into the container. An air outlet (5) is arranged at an upper area of the container for discharging moistened and warmed up air from the container. A drainboard (3) is provided in the container for exhausting water stored at the bottom of the room.
