<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excitation inrush current suppressor which can suppress an excitation inrush current occurring at a power-on of a transformer that converts an AC three-phase voltage into an AC single-phase voltage. <P>SOLUTION: An excitation inrush current suppressor 6 which suppresses an excitation inrush current to a circuit breaker 2 that opens and closes a connection between a train line 1 and a Scott-connection transformer 3, detects a broken phase when the transformer 3 is broken, measures a phase voltage of each phase of the train line 1, and closes the circuit breaker 2 in the detected broken phase based on the measured phase voltage of each phase of the train line 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
