<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector capable of informing of detailed precautions concerning electric power interruptions. <P>SOLUTION: A projector 1 includes: a cooling control unit 23 for switching between a first cooling state in which a cooling unit (cooling fan 24) is made perform cooling when a light source 11 is turned on and a second cooling state in which the cooling unit is made tentatively keep cooling after the light source 11 is turned off; a first determination unit (control unit 20) for determining whether the electric power from an external power source is interrupted or not in the first cooling state at the time of the last operation; a second determination unit (control unit 20) for determining whether the electric power from the external power source is interrupted or not in the second cooling state at the time of the last operation; and a warning projection control unit (control unit 20) for making an image projection unit 10 project a first warning screen when the first determination unit determines that the electric power from the external source is interrupted and making the image projection unit 10 project a second warning screen when the second determination unit determines that the electric power from the external source is interrupted. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
