<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric rolling stock control device that can start an inverter for controlling a motor stably, even when the motor rotates at a very low speed in speed sensorless control. <P>SOLUTION: An electric rolling stock control device 10 employing speed sensorless control receives velocity information V without polarity from a speedometer 11, receives a forward/backward progress signal SD from a vehicle driver's cab 9, calculates velocity information VP with polarity on the basis of the velocity information V and the forward/backward progress signal SD, and controls an inverter 1 during startup on the basis of the velocity information VP with polarity. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
