<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a damage inspection method of a screen and a screen damage inspection device by which a damage of the screen to be provided in crushing equipment is nondestructively inspected to predict the damage, and exchange indication of the screen is standardized to be linked to prevention maintenance. <P>SOLUTION: The damage inspection method of the screen is attained by the screen damage inspection device 10 and includes a signal output process and a damage determination process. In the signal output process, a probe 1 moves along the surface of the screen 25, an AC power source 2 supplies AC current to a coil to generate magnetic fluxes, and an eddy current flaw detector 3 outputs voltage variation to be induced by the coil as a flaw detection signal. Then, in the damage determination process, damage determination means 4 which receives the flaw detection signal to be output from the eddy current flaw detector 3 determines that there is the damage in the screen 25 when the maximum value of an X direction component signal or the maximum value of a Y direction component signal in the flaw detection signal exceeds thresholds to be preset to each signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
