PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a server device allowing a Web page to be displayed on a terminal regardless of the kind of Web page description language. SOLUTION: This server device allowing the Web page to be displayed on the terminal regardless of the kind of Web page description language comprises a receiving means for receiving a Web page display request from the terminal; a Web page data receiving means for receiving a Web page data requested by the received Web page display request; a data converting means for converting the Web page data to the data according to the kind of the terminal; and a transmitting means for transmitting the converted data to the terminal. The converted data are to be preferably of image data.
