<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a showcase having improved light diffusion efficiency using a light diffusion structure for light emitted into the shelf and providing smooth sliding of merchandise products without particular fluorine coating on the shelf like a conventional one. <P>SOLUTION: The showcase S displays the merchandise products on the shelves 11 installed in a display compartment 3, and includes LED illumination devices 40 each including LED elements 41. The shelf 11 is made of a light transmitting plate material, the light from the LED illumination device 40 is incident into the shelf 11 from an end surface 11A of the shelf 11, and the upper surface 11D of the shelf 11 is integrally formed with a plurality of projections 39, and the surface of the projection 39 is made into a rough surface 39A. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
