<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a noise preventive device for a roller type shutter which surely prevents noise generating from a slat and a guide rail due to wind pressure in the case of strong wind. <P>SOLUTION: A noise preventive device is formed like a wedge with a thickness thereof gradually reduced. A front side face of a main body of the noise preventive device is formed as a smooth surface, and a rear side face thereof is formed as a quadric surface curved in a direction perpendicular to a direction from a base end toward a front end and is provided with a plurality of groove-like concave-convex portions.
