<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable information terminal which performs processing that is executed in an emergency to the last. <P>SOLUTION: The portable phone 1 comprises a control part 21 driven by supplying drive power from a power supply control circuit 40. The control part 21 includes mode information storage means for outputting buzzer sound in response to detection of an on-state of a crime-prevention switch 7 as well as storing mode information in RAM 32 and stopping output of the buzzer sound in response to detection of an off-state of the crime-protection switch 7; emergency processing performance means for performing predetermined processing in response to detection of emergency occurrence; and when the mode information is stored in RAM 32, start-up processing performance means for performing predetermined processing as the control part 21 is initiated by starting supplying drive power from the power supply control circuit 40 and emergency mode cancellation means for deleting the mode information from RAM 32 in response to completion of the predetermined processing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
