PURPOSE:To curtail the number of amplifiers and to reduce the energy consumption by providing input side and output side circulators together with a micro wave wide band amplifier at upper and lower lines and connecting the circulators mutually. CONSTITUTION:The title repeater is provided with respective antennas 1 and 2 in an ascending direction and an descending direction, transmitting receiving sharing devices 3 and 4, micro wave wide band amplifiers 7 and 8 provided in parallel between the transmitting receiving sharing devices and circulators 5, 6, 9 and 10 provided at the input side and the output side of the amplifier. Respective input side circulators 5 and 6 and respective output side circulators 9 and 10 are mutually connected. Consequently, when either one of the micro wave wide band amplifiers 7 and 8 is troubled, a part of one side line channel is changed to other line by the circulators 5, 6, 9 and 10 and the amplifier of other line is amplified and operated as a preliminary amplifier. Thus, a repeater can be constituted of a small quantity of the amplifier, the hot standby of the preliminary amplifier is cancelled and the energy consumption can be reduced. |
