DEVICE FOR CONNECTING POWER CABLE TO APPLIANCE MEMBER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for connecting a high voltage or ultra high voltage power cable to an appliance member which can solve the problem of an outer jacket shrinking at the time of cable connection work.

SOLUTION: A device connects a high voltage or ultra high voltage power cable 1 comprising an insulation outer jacket 1E to an appliance member 2 comprising an outer surface by a sleeve 6 made of heat-proof shrinkable material of a prescribed length and by an insulator layer 7 caught under the sleeve made of the heat-proof shrinkable material of the prescribed length. The insulator layer 7 is composed of composite material with a tension-resistance characteristic in a long axis direction of the cable 1 and attached to the outer jacket 1E and to the outer surface.
