<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system by which an interference removal process of multipath or the like is carried out properly. <P>SOLUTION: A communication system has an FB(Feedback)-side equalizer 204 that increases or decreases a weight value in a CMA (Constant Modulus Algorism) adaptive equalizer to an output signal OUT in a step size, depending on a difference between intensity of the output signal OUT and reference intensity REF.
