<p>Device (1) comprises a thermal unit (2), which is used to maintain the temperature of the roasted coffee beans during the grinding process, at least at the start of the grinding process to 30-150[deg] C, preferably 40-60[deg] C. An independent claim is also included for processing coffee beans in an unit for grinding the beans, comprising (i) roasting the coffee beans, (ii) cooling the coffee beans to temperature of greater than 66[deg] C, and (iii) grinding the coffee beans at temperature of 66-150[deg] C, or tempering the mill-base before or during grinding such that the temperature of the mill-base at least in the beginning of the grinding process is 30-150[deg] C, preferably 40-60[deg] C.</p> |
