<p>The cable (10) has a marking field (38) equipped in a cable cover (12) and comprising a base (26) that is arranged at distance around an inner radius from a middle axle (22) of the cable. The inner radius is shorter than outer radius around penetration depth. Cover elements (32) are provided on the base. Individual marks (34) are defined by the penetration depth and arranged in a series along cable length direction, where height of the cover elements corresponds to the penetration depth.
