<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the density unevenness when controlling a light exposure on an exposed surface using a plurality of beams. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming device comprises a plurality of light sources LD1-LD8 and a polygon mirror for deflection-scanning light beams output from the plurality of light sources, and performs an image formation by exposing a photoreceptor with these light beams. A polygon mirror control circuit 102 controls a rotation speed of the polygon mirror to adjust a ratio in the rotation direction of the photoreceptor. When the rotation speed of the polygon mirror is changed to a rotation speed different from a reference speed, a CPU 105 controls the light quantity of the light beams forming a scan line or either of the scan lines positioned in the outside of the rotation direction among the plurality of scan lines formed on the photoreceptor by simultaneously scanning the plurality of light beams, according to the variation of the rotation speed of the polygon mirror. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
