NANOFIBROUS SHEET-BASED SYSTEMS FOR CONTROLLED DELIVERY OF ORAL DRUGS

PURPOSE: A system for controlled-delivery of oral drugs is provided to control drug delivery regardless of uneven intestinal condition and to enable massive production. CONSTITUTION: A system for controlled-delivery of oral drugs comprises a lower nanofiber sheet(1) and an upper nanofiber sheet(3) for covering a drug(2) and the lower nanofiber sheet. The edges of the upper and lower nanofiber sheets are assembled by thermal-pressing or pressing using a solvent. The nanofiber sheet is fabricated by electrospinning method and is made of biocompatible polymers.
