PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation apparatus with which the durability of a black unit can be made the same as that of other color units and which the consumption of power of the whole apparatus can be suppressed.

SOLUTION: In a tandem electrophotographic image formation apparatus having five image forming units including two black image forming units, the three image forming units other than the black unit and a first black image forming unit use dry toner. A second black image forming unit uses wet toner.
