<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a low-molecular fucoidan from a polymeric fucoidan of polysaccharides in Mozuku (Nemacystus decipiens). <P>SOLUTION: There are provided a method for producing the low-molecular fucoidan by adding mash vinegar or solution of citrus fruits (Citrus depressa, Citrus kabuchii, Citrus oto, Citrus tarogayo or citrus tankan) to polymeric fucoidan in Mozuku, and a method for depolymerizing the polymeric fucoidan to the low-molecular fucoidan by boiling, mixing and dissolving Mozuku powder to prepare a fucoidan-containing solution, adding mash vinegar solution prepared from millet brandy residue or a solution of citrus fruits (Citrus depressa, Citrus kabuchii, Citrus oto, Citrus tarogayo or citrus tankan) to the fucoidan-containing solution and using hydrolytic action of citric acid and acetic acid in the mash vinegar or citrus fruits. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
