摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system and a band allocation method in which a total of both unicast traffic and multicast traffic can be made closer to a band allocation corresponding to a user-set weighting, while considering the presence/absence of the multicast traffic communication of the relevant user without reducing a band utilization efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: A control apparatus of an optical communication system 301 distributes all bands of a network 151 to users 201 in a ratio corresponding to a weighting set for each user 201 as user bands, allocates multicast traffic to the user bands more preferentially than unicast traffic, and further allocates the unicast traffic to the bands obtained by subtracting the bands, in which the multicast traffic allocated to the users 201 is multiplied by the ratio corresponding to the weighting of the users 201, from the user bands prior to preferentially allocating the multicast traffic. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
